Renegade

Thin Lizzy first came to me in the mid-eighties where hard rock and heavy metal had their revival. Back then it was the song "Got To Give It Up" that really caught my attention. Later on I got to know Lizzy a lot better and this was especially due to the "Renegade" album, being the first Lizzy album I bought. I now own most of their albums, and even though they have given this world classics like "The Boys Are Back In Town" and "Dancing In The Moonlight" and the corresponding albums, my favourite remains "Renegade" and especially the magnificent "It's Getting Dangerous". Some people just die too soon and the thought that Phil Lynott could have been here today making more great music is a sad one. But - at least he left us a bunch of great albums to remember him by. "Jailbreak" and "Black Rose" are other personal favourites, but "Renegade" is my first choice.
