"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" totally dominates this album and is probably one of the best pieces of music ever recorded by Pink Floyd. I especially love part one and the way it slowly builds up to one great instrumental piece after another. It's Pink Floyd in a different world than that of "The Wall", another top 50 album. In a way, "Wish You Were Here" is sounds more laid back, less frustrated and paranoid. It's an album where the songs are given the space they need to breathe and grow on the listener. At least that's what happened to me. From being a very good and interesting album to an album that just contains so many different things and musical effects that it's constantly an interesting journey into Pink Floyd's universe.
