Pink Floyd

Comments about Pink Floyd:
My love for
Pink Floyd is mainly because of their ability to create amazing musical landscapes with
intense emotion. I was never really into the more experimental side of the band but prefer
their work from "The Wall" and on. And today it's obvious how big their
influence on other bands has been. Their legacy is huge and a song like "Shine On You
Crazy Diamond (Part 1)" from "Wish You Were Here" greatly illustrates the
band in all their grandeur. Le Mec
"Pink
Floyd are the premier space-rock band. Since the mid-'60s, their music has relentlessly
tinkered with electronics and all manner of special effects to push pop formats to their
outer limits." Richie Unterberger, All-Music Guide
