Why This Album Is So Great:
The song "Hotel California" is to many people identical with the
Eagles. However, as you find when digging deeper into their catalogue, they are about so
much more than that. Still, the title song from this album captures very well the essence
of the band and the album contains eight other songs of the same high quality. The perfect
way to discover the Eagles would probably be via their Best Of
album but of all their individual releases, "Hotel California" stands out. The
last song "The Last Resort" closes the album just as perfectly as it was opened
by the title song and everything inbetween is a joyride...
