Le Mec:
Hotlist Better Than Ezra releasing a new album in
August.
Duran Duran: "Essential Duran Duran
(Night Versions)". Great 12" versions finally on CD. Only minus is a
disappointing interactive part. And that the CD is only available in The US.
Talk Talk: "Asides Besides". Yet
another album from Talk Talk which shows that the eigthies are underestimated in music.
Drömhus: "Vill Ha Dig" and Meja: "All 'Bout The Money". Evidence that Europop isn't
all bad and how a song can creep into your mind if you listen to it long enough. Perfect
summer music
Lightning Seeds. Great British poptunes.
Puts you right in a good mood.
Notlist
- Sneaker Pimps splitting with their singer.
That might just be the end of it.
- The existence of too many free music papers
offering little more than superficial views on how the record industry sees the music
scene right now.
- I agree with Morten Jordan. A lot of the music of the eighties deserves a revival, but Modern Talking is not part of it!!!!
- Marketing has gotten too much importance in modern pop music.

- Live are in the studio recording material
for their next album - go for it, boys!
- Better Than Ezra are releasing their new
album August 25th.
- Now I'm certain: K's Choice's latest album
"Cocoon Crash" is their best so far.
- Jamiroquai's new video from the
Godzilla-movie is probably more exciting than the movie itself.
- Mike Oldfield's new album "Tubular
Bells 3" will be out on the streets in the fall.
Notlist
- I still haven't heard Mike Oldfield's new piece from the X-Files
soundtrack.
- I probably won't be able to see Mike Oldfield perform his Tubular Bells 3 concert in
London in September - DAMN!!
- Buying music in small quantities on the internet is too expensive due to the postage
costs.
- My CD-player is still out of order. (Then get it fixed, damn it!!! - Le Mec)

- Live's version of Vic Chestnut's
"Supernatural". Probably the best song I've heard this year.
- D:A:D. Perfect sing-along entertainment in
the Danish summer.
- Air: "Kelly Watch The Stars".
Pleasant listening.
Notlist
- Espen Lind. Eric Gadd resembles a macho
hero compared to this "guy".
- Modern Talking is back.
