Hotlist
- Duran
Duran finally released their new album "Pop Trash". It's
obviously a must for all fans but if you were ever into the band you might actually find a
lot of great music on the album. Plus the odd couple of fillers...In connection with the
new album, the official website
has also gotten a needed overhaul.
- Cleaning
out my cd collection for stuff that has for one reason or another fallen
from grace. There's always an amount of albums you never listen to anyway, so it's good to
have sold off some of them. The rest is still up for grabs - should you have any interest
- and can be found on my CD Sales page (in
Danish).
- Better
Than Ezra are back in the studio recording. Check out their website.
- I just got hold of the entire collection
of Barry Manilow!!
Notlist
- End space
on cd albums. It totally bugs me when artists think it's cool to end an
album with 5-15 minutes of blank space before presenting you with an extra track or
oddity. Why the void? I personally don't have the patience to sit and wait for the finish
and think many people feel this way. So instead of just giving the extra stuff to the
listener right away, the artist risks it never getting played. Now, was that the
intention...?
- Getting my
teeth drilled while trying to listen to the radion. I guess we can all
agree that going to the dentist is not exactly fun. But at least my dentists has the radio
on with music to listen to. However, it gets kind of hard to focus on the music when the
drill is hammering away and your dentist even seems to like it. Anyway, he should get the
points for having the radio in the first place...
- Being
taxed for the cd's I buy on the Internet. It's annoying when taxes take
away some of the incentive to shop music online. The web should be made a tax-free zone to
really get the online shopping going.
- ...the thing about Barry Manilow is so not true. Just checking to see if you're focused...
