THE HOT AND NOT
LIST as of January 7th 2001
Le Mec:
Hotlist
- Ultravox have released their
five most important albums from the first half of the ´80's in remastered editions with
bonus tracks. They're all in great new packaging and the sound is a lot better than the
original cd releases. The official Ultravox website has more information about the
releases.
- Swedish indie rockers Kent have released a double B-sides album gathering all
their flipsides since 1995. I guess these compilations have become very normal and I
really salute them. It saves fans from spending fortunes on the cd singles...
- In case all you Danes out there don't
know it, I just wanted to let you know that we're now less than a month away from the new
album from TV-2.
It will be called "Amerika".
- I have started subscribing to the two best music magazines around, Q Magazine
and NME. I
can only recommend this as this is by far the best way to keep track of the music
industry. At least when the local alternatives are so poor (and most of the time they
themselves get their contents from the great British music mags).
Notlist
- I'm actually pretty light spirited at
the moment, so stuff that sucks really hasn't caught my attention over the last couple of
weeks. I know it's a bit embarrasing since I always like to pass a few punches around...
