THE HOT AND NOT LIST as of October 2nd 1999

Hotlist
Live: "The Distance To Here". We've waited
three years for this album and not many album releases carry this much weight to me. But
this brilliant new album comes just in time to carry me into the next millenium.
Pet Shop
Boys: "Nightlife".
Another one of my absolute favourite bands and a real treat too. Two important album
releases (with Live) within two weeks. I can't promise I won't overdose...
Nik
Kershaw: "15
Minutes". A fine new album from one of those forgotten heroes of the '80's. And to
most of you outh there, little Nik probably means nothing. But, he and I go way back and
I'll always have a soft spot for his quality pop.
New album out by Everything But The Girl ("Temperamental"). Haven't heard it
yet but I always welcome the magic voice of Tracey Thorn.
Notlist
Zoo Magazine once again copied an article from a British magazine and made in an important
part of an issue. It's a shame when the biggest part of their creativeness concists of
figuring out how to cut corners and steal the best material from others.
