SUMMER HOTLIST

Le Mec:
The summer is about to
really start. Stuff to help you spending it could include:
- The brand new album from Prefab Sprout:
"The Gunman And Other Stories". Prefab Sprout as we know them with an obvious
flirt with country elements. Perfect for lazy summer days!
- All the other
great new albums from Travis, Faithless, Depeche Mode, R.E.M. and partly
Radiohead.
- Be sure to add more happy tunes to your musical cocktail. The dark autumn and
winter days will get here soon enough. It may even be okay to put on Shaggy a few
times...if you promise to dose it all off with some Kurt Cobain afterwards...Generally,
though, you can get away with more silliness than normally - abuse this!
- The large amount of summer festivals scattered all over Europe and other lucky
places on the planet. Be sure to seek out the best ones - there are still too many crap
events around.
- ...just knowing that on the other side
awaits new releases from Garbage, Del
Amitri, Live and others should be able to crank up the spirit a notch or two...
...and with this I leave
you and I'm off to the western US for three weeks to explore my brains out.
