Why This Album Is So Great:
If you like R.E.M. and Live, then you'll definitely like Better Than Ezra. At
least that's what I discovered when I listened to them for the first time. In their sound
and genre, they are very close to Live, and Live being one of my favourite bands, I
instantly picked up on Better Than Ezra. However, Better Than Ezra also have their own
sound and they are more than strong enough to carry themselves and not only be subject to
comparisons with other bands. They also received great reviews when they released
"Friction, Baby", but so far the public has overlooked them. It's a great shame
and I'm sure they would break through if they just got the exposure they, in my opinion,
are entitled to. Personally, I have not yet seen anyone discover Better Than Ezra and not
be blown away by the strength of the band and this album in particular.
