with Dance elements.
Produced By: Michael Cretu.
Record Label: Virgin.
Why This Album Is So Great:
If you're only gonna own one album with ambient dance music, this will have to
be it. Enigma was more than anyone else the band (actually, it's just one guy) that
launched the genre and made it fashionable to be a monk again...Light a candle, put this
album on and listen to it in its entirety. It's really a totally relaxing experience -
with a few bumps on the way. Since this album, Michael Cretu has tried to follow up with
the same recipe a couple of times without the same success. This remains the classic. In
addition to the original album, this edition features four extra mixes of already known
songs.
