Why This Album Is So Great:

C.V. Jørgensen is the only Danish artist to have an album on my lists. This in itself is quite an achievement. It's not that I don't like Danish music. I have lots of it, but the competition is just so steep that making it to the "holy lists" is impossible for most artists. The only other Danish artist close to being listed is TV-2, my favourite Danish artist. But no. So what is it with this guy C.V. that makes him so great? Well, I guess it's his ability to precisely describe all kinds of persons in his songs as well as Danish society in general. This, combined with superior musical skills, makes C.V. Jørgensen one of the most acclaimed artists in Denmark. And this best of compilation is just filled with his classic songs. So filled that it has become one of my favourite albums.
