Why This
Album Is So Great:
This album presents Pet Shop Boys at their very best. The typical PSB sound
filled with space, light arrangements and melancholy is all over this album. Also, it's a
bit more laid back than most other PSB albums, which is a thing that suits it very well.
Songs like "Being Boring", "This Must Be The Place I Waited Years To
Leave" and "To Face The Truth" are big PSB classics in my book, and
practically the entire album keeps that high quality level. So, whoever said that PSB are
a great singles band only said half the truth. Their albums also stand the test of time,
every bit of the way. Here's to probably the best duo around...!
