Few of the great pop artists from the ´80's (and into the ´90's) can say that they have not been influenced by Roxy Music. When it comes to classy and stylish pop music, Roxy Music ruled the ´70's and first parts of the ´80's. "Avalon" was their last studio album but also the album where they perfected their style and sound. A sound Bryan Ferry would later continue on his great solo albums. The album contains the all-time Roxy classic "Avalon" and a number of songs in the same tone. Also, you get your more instrumental bits, so overall there's very little to left to want when the album's finished playing. A classic.
